Therapy as an Investment
I fully recognize that therapy is expensive and the cost can be an important factor in your decision making to move forward with seeking therapy for your child.
With that in mind, please know that my goal as your therapist is to help support your family in creating lasting change.
When you reach out, I understand that it comes from a place of seeking support and looking for a change. It is because things feel extra hard… likely both for you and your kid. I strive to work together to provide personalized support, individualized ideas and strategies, and to create a plan that best supports your family’s needs so that together we can try and get you to the other side. While I am so appreciative of the families I work with, my number one goal is to get you to a space where it doesn’t feel like you need me anymore, and as quickly as we can.
This means that while I work directly with your child in the play therapy, I strive to work hand-in-hand with you as the parent(s)/caregiver(s) throughout the entire process to provide wrap-around support. Beyond just working with your kid, I hope to empower you with tools and knowledge to support your child at home as well.

Out-of-Network (Your plan isn’t listed)
If your insurance plan isn’t listed, I would be considered an out-of-network provider. If choosing to submit for insurance reimbursement for out-of-network services, you are responsible for completing, filing, and collecting insurance reimbursement. I am happy to provide a detailed statement of the services received (Superbill) for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement per your out-of-network benefits.
How do I use my out-of-network benefits?
Most out-of-network benefits are pretty straightforward to use. I will provide you with a Superbill that will have all required information, that you will then submit to your insurance provider. They would then reimburse whatever amount is owed directly to you.
You can verify your out-of-network benefits directly with your insurance provider by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. You can ask them questions such as:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health coverage? Can these be utilized for telehealth? (if interested in virtual therapy)
What is my out-of-network deductible and how much of that has been met this year?
How much will I be reimbursed for a 45-minute psychotherapy session (CPT Code 90834)?
(If completing the Play Therapy Immersion) Can I be reimbursed for more than one session per week? Per day?
How do I submit forms for reimbursement & how long will it take to be reimbursed?
